It’s tuned for the torque output of a gas engine and comes with normal, slippery, eco, and tow/haul modes. If you opt for the power take-off (PTO) provision, Super Duty gas models allow you to divert 250 pound-feet of torque to compatible upfits.
• TorqShift transmission — The high torque output of the Power Stroke diesel engines under the hood of a Super Duty demands a transmission that’s tuned to handle it. That’s where the TorqShift ten-speed automatic transmission shines, as it comes standard with both diesel engines. The standard drive modes include normal, slippery, tow/haul, and eco, plus the optional rock crawl and trail control modes. A PTO provision with this diesel transmission yields 300 pound-feet of torque.
• Drivetrain choices — Depending on the trim level you pick, either a 4x2 or 4x4 drivetrain is available. XL, XLT, and Lariat trims offer either drivetrain, while the King Ranch® and Platinum® trims are exclusively 4x4 models. Electronic shift-on-the-fly is standard with 4x4 models, but auto/manual locking hubs are available for greater control over 4x4 engagement. 
• Rear wheel configurations — Across the Super Duty model lineup, two different rear wheel configuration setups are available. Super Duty F-250 models are exclusively available with single rear wheels (SRW), while Super Duty F-450 trucks come built with dual rear wheels (DRW) to handle the heavy loads this truck is built for. Choose either an SRW or DRW configuration for the Super Duty F-350, depending on your towing, hauling, and driving preferences. 
• Off-road equipment — In addition to being a towing and hauling beast, the Super Duty is available with equipment that helps it conquer rough terrain. Opting for the Tremor® Off-Road Package gives you an off-road-tuned suspension with 10.5 inches of ground clearance, skid plates, a rear electronic locking differential, 35-inch all-terrain tires, and Trail Turn Assist.
