Most trims feature the 1.5L EcoBoost® inline three-cylinder engine that makes 180 horsepower and can tow up to 2,200 pounds. In the Badlands trim, harness a 2.0L EcoBoost inline four-cylinder engine for 250 horsepower and a 2,700-pound maximum towing capacity. Also included with the Badlands trim is an advanced 4x4 with a twin-clutch rear drive unit, which can divert torque to the rear wheels independently depending on which one has traction.
